SUKHO THAI HEALING POLICY

Thank you for choosing Sukho Thai Healing for your massage and bodywork needs. To ensure the highest quality service for our clients, we have implemented the following policies:

1. Appointment Policy:

• All services are by appointment only; no walk-ins, please.

2. Booking and Cancellation:

• A Credit Card is required for all appointments, including same-day bookings.
• Cancellations, Modifications & Rescheduling: To provide fair and respectful service for both our clients and therapists, All bookings including same-day appointments require at least 24 hours notice for cancellation, rescheduling or modifications of services ( including shortening a session or removing add ons). Changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be subject to the 100% full service fee of originally booked service. We appreciate your understanding of this important policy.
• Same-day appointments are also subject to this policy—any cancellations or reschedules within the 24-hour window will be charged the full price of the service, regardless of the reason. No exceptions.
• How to Cancel: Cancellations, reschedules, and changes must be made by phone. We do not accept cancellations by text or email. If we are unable to answer, please leave a voicemail — the time of your voicemail is the time we use.

3. No-Show Policy:

• A no-show is any appointment where the client does not arrive and does not cancel in advance.
• Arriving more than 15 minutes late without contacting us is also treated as a no-show, and the therapist may not be able to see you.
• No-shows are charged 100% of the full service price to the credit card or package on file. This applies to all appointments, including same-day bookings, and there are no exceptions.

4. Outstanding Cancellation & No-Show Fees:

• Any unpaid cancellation fee or no-show fee must be paid in full before a new appointment can be made online, by phone, or in person.
• Sukho Thai Healing reserves the right to decline or cancel any future booking until the balance is paid. This applies even if the booking is made under a different name, email address, or phone number, or through a new account.
• Clients with a past unpaid fee may be required to prepay in full at the time of booking.

5. Professional Conduct:

• Massage therapy is solely for relaxation and therapeutic purposes. Any inappropriate behavior, including sexual advances, will result in immediate termination of the session. No refunds will be provided for the current session or any sessions bought in advance. Offending individuals will be banned from the premises.
•  Please treat our therapists with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service for any lawful reason.
• Sukho Thai Healing reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to anyone behaving inappropriately or disrespectfully toward our staff or space.

6. Client Etiquette:

•  New clients are requested to arrive 10-15 minutes early for a health intake and consultation.
• Late arrivals – If you arrive up to 15 minutes late, your session will still end at the original scheduled time and you will be charged the full price.
• Please silence your phone and refrain from phone calls during your session out of respect for other guests and therapists.
• Sukho Thai Healing is a quiet healing space — we kindly ask guests to maintain a peaceful atmosphere throughout their visit.

7. Special Considerations:

• Pregnant clients may only book Pre-Natal Massage. Any other bookings for pregnant women will be refused by the therapist and subject to the cancellation policy.
•  We do not offer refunds for massage services or gift cards.

8. Sales Tax and Gift Certificates:

• Gift certificate purchases are exempt from sales tax. However, the NY state service tax of 4.5% is applied at the time of service.

9. Payment and Gratuities:

• We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. No 3rd party vouchers or gift card credit cards are accepted.
• Gratuities are appreciated and accepted in Cash Only.

10. Client Confidentiality and Health Information:

• We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your personal and health information confidential. Any information shared during the session, including health conditions, will be kept secure. Clients are encouraged to inform their therapist of any health concerns that may impact the massage session.

11. General Terms:

• Prices are subject to change without notice. All services, products, and gift certificates are non-refundable.
• Pricing is non-negotiable, and discounts cannot be combined.
• Promotions and discounts cannot be applied retroactively to past bookings.

12. Package & Series Policy:

• Packages and series are non-transferable, non-refundable, and must be used within 12 months of purchase.

13. Gift Card Policy:

To protect our clients from fraud, gift cards cannot be used until 7 days after purchase.

• Gift cards cannot be redeemed for services, products, or gratuity during the first 7 days.
• We may ask for photo ID or proof of purchase when a gift card is redeemed.
• Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except where required by law.
• Sukho Thai Healing may cancel a gift card bought with an unauthorized or disputed payment.
